Chinese artistes perform during the Dragon Boat Festival in Beijing May 30, 2006. The Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on May 31 this year, commemorates the attempted rescue of Chinese poet Chu Yuan. It is believed that Chu Yuan drowned on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. in China's Hubei Province. (Reuters)
