Chinese, Korean food festival held to strengthen exchanges


The "2021 Diversified and Harmonious - China-Korea Food and Culture Exchange", co-organized by the Korean embassy in Beijing, the Korean Cultural Center in China, and the China General Association of Commercial Newspaper, was held in Beijing on October 21.
During the event, renowned chefs from China and Korea cooked classic dishes from their home countries.
Kim Jin Gon, director of the Korean Cultural Center in China, said the event, with food as the driver, promotes cultural exchange between China and Korea.
"This event is one of the series of Chinese and foreign food events we have planned and initiated," said Jiang Shangyuan, secretary-general of the China General Association of Commercial Newspaper, "Combining food and cultural exchange, building a new platform for business exchange and dialogue between the two countries in a relaxed way, and telling the Chinese story are the aims."
