One of Wu's signature works The Door to Hearts: A Dialogue between Taras Shevchenko and Du Fu was incepted on the campus of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv on Dec 14, 2017.

Widely considered to be a token of friendship between the two peoples, the sculptural piece features two literary giants in the history of the two countries, the 19th century Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko and Tang Dynasty (618-907) poet Du Fu, portrayed in the form of two books standing in parallel and thus looking like a door.
