Guo Shuqing, vice-governor of the People's Bank of China and Party secretary of the central bank
Guo, who took office as chairman of the China Banking Regulatory Commission in February 2017, became Party secretary as well as chairman of the new banking and insurance regulatory commission, which combines the role of CBRC and the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
